Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote Logistics Coordinator to manage and oversee the end-to-end logistics and supply chain operations from a remote location. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating shipments, tracking deliveries, managing inventory data, and ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation of goods. You will work closely with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate domestic and/or international shipments from origin to destination
Schedule pickups and deliveries with carriers, freight forwarders, or suppliers
Track shipments and update stakeholders on status, delays, or changes
Maintain accurate records of shipping documents, inventory, and order details
Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, customs requirements, and company policies
Negotiate rates with carriers and monitor transportation costs
Communicate with warehouse teams, vendors, and customers to resolve logistics issues
Monitor and manage inventory levels using logistics software or ERP systems
Prepare logistics reports and provide updates to management as needed
Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred)
1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation coordination, or supply chain management
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with logistics software, Microsoft Excel, and/or ERP systems
Ability to work independently and effectively manage remote workflows
Knowledge of shipping regulations, incoterms, and documentation processes

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with 3PLs, freight brokers, or international logistics
Familiarity with customs documentation and compliance
Comfortable working across time zones or with international partners
Experience with tools like SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or transportation management systems (TMS)
