Job Title: Product Manager – Third-Party CyberSecurity Intelligence Platform
Location: UK (or Remote/Hybrid)
Reports to: CEO
About the Client:
Our client helps enterprises discover, assess, and respond to third-party and supply-chain risks through advanced AI-driven analytics and intelligence. Their mission is to deliver continuous, data-backed visibility into the extended enterprise — enabling organizations to identify vulnerabilities, map their digital ecosystems, and make informed decisions about vendor and partner risk.
As they continue to scale their platform, we are seeking a Director of Engineering to lead a world-class technical team, shape the architectural vision, and drive execution across multiple product streams — including large-scale data pipelines and real-time risk intelligence systems.
Role Overview:
As Product Manager you will be responsible for owning the product roadmap and execution for one or more major modules of our platform (e.g., discovery & mapping, risk scoring & analytics, automated response). You will work closely with the CTO/founder, engineering, data/AI teams, UX/design, marketing, and customer-success to define product strategy, prioritise features, and deliver value to customers and the business.
You will play a key role in shaping the product direction, defining metrics, understanding market/competitive dynamics, and ensuring that we build a product that addresses real pain points for our users (e.g., cybersecurity/risk teams, GRC teams, supply chain teams).
Key Responsibilities:
• Define and maintain a compelling product vision and roadmap aligned with business goals, customer needs and market dynamics (third-party risk, supply chain resilience, AI-driven intelligence).
• Engage deeply with customers (prospects, existing users) to understand their workflows, pain points, and desired outcomes; translate those into product requirements.
• Work with engineering/data/AI teams to specify features (user stories, acceptance criteria, dependencies), prioritise backlog, and drive delivery.
• Define success metrics (e.g., user-onboarding time, visibility of third-party entities, risk-score accuracy, time to respond, customer retention/expansion) and monitor product performance.
• Conduct competitive analysis, market research, and stay on top of trends in cybersecurity, third-party risk management, supply-chain tech, AI/analytics.
• Collaborate with UX/design to deliver intuitive user flows, dashboards, and visualisations that make complex risk-data understandable and actionable for non‐technical users.
• Liaise with marketing/sales to define product positioning, value propositions, launch campaigns and enable sales with product-led collateral and demos.
• Work with customer‐success/solutions teams to capture feedback, iterate features, and drive product adoption and upsell.
• Manage cross‐functional dependencies, ensure on‐time delivery of features and releases, and mitigate risks.
• Evangelise the product internally and externally (e.g., customer calls, webinars, product demos).
Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Proven experience (typically 3-7 years) as a Product Manager (or Senior PM) in a SaaS environment.
• Experience working on data-/analytics/AI-driven products (bonus if in cybersecurity, supply-chain risk, third-party intelligence or adjacent domains).
• Strong understanding of product management practices: roadmap planning, prioritisation frameworks (e.g., RICE, MoSCoW), writing user stories/acceptance criteria, working with agile/scrum teams.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts (AI risk scoring, graph visualisations, threat intelligence) into user-driven features and clear user value.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills: able to engage with engineers, designers, data scientists, sales, and customers.
• Analytical mindset: comfortable defining and using KPIs/metrics to drive decisions, and analysing data to inform prioritisation.
• Strong user-centric mindset: able to engage with customers, gather insights, validate assumptions, and deliver products that solve real problems.
• Good UX and visualisation appreciation: ability to work with design to create dashboards/reports that non-technical users can leverage.
• Comfortable in a fast-moving, early/mid‐stage start-up environment; able to wear multiple hats, pivot when required, and drive results with limited resources.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, or equivalent; advanced degree is a plus.
Desired / Nice to Have:
• Experience in cybersecurity, risk management, GRC (governance, risk & compliance) or supply-chain risk management.
• Familiarity with third-party/ vendor risk management platforms and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOC2, supply-chain risk standards).
• Understanding of machine-learning/AI concepts (e.g., risk-scoring models, graph analytics, anomaly detection).
• Experience working with enterprise B2B customers, especially security teams, procurement/supply-chain teams.
• Experience with visualising large-scale graph data sets or complex network interactions.
• Experience launching SaaS modules, working with freemium to paid conversion, and driving monetisation strategies.
