• Plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming.

• Serve as highly technical and effective people manager, and SME in specific domain.

• Lead teams to deliver on multiple projects of increasing dependencies in ambiguous or high-impact area.

• Work with team and XFN partners to define and influence strategy.

• Work on issues requiring in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.

• Drive roadmap creation and execution.

• Collaborate with various functions, drive engineering initiatives and impact at organizational level.

• Participate in technical design.

• Measure the impact of team and set clear expectations and goals.

• Manage activities of two or more sections or departments, supervising costs, methods, and staffing.

• Work effectively with XFN partners and stakeholders to set and achieve optimal outcomes.

• Partner with leadership to influence and drive org design, contribution and prioritization.

• Design end-to-end core infra, backend software components for VR System Diagnostic solutions.

• Design and implement developer facing tooling to diagnose problems in OS and System level components.

• Telecommute from anywhere in the US permitted.

Minimum Qualifications

• Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Software, Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or related field and four years of work experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Requires four years of experience in the following:

• 1. Management experience with technical teams, or experience as a technical lead or project manager

• 2. Building products including Linux Kernel and ARM based SoCs

• 3. Coding skills in one of the following: C++, Java, or ARM assembly

• 4. Unix/Linux

• 5. End-to-end design of apps and services in an OS to support a variety of sensors

• 6. Analyzing and improving performance of OS services and components

• 7. Developing scalable, high performance, high throughput components and services for the OS

• 8. Troubleshooting and diagnosing problems in Bootloader, Kernel, and low level services

• 9. Coordinating large-scale, cross-functional efforts that span different teams

• 10. Developing and managing requirements, and making data-driven decisions and

• 11. Leading strategic implementation and planning for risk and growth

$280,236/year to $290,180/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
