full-time role
focused on training and refining next-generation AI systems. This opportunity is designed for engineers and researchers passionate about advancing technology through data, precision, and innovation.
As an AI Tutor – Electrical and Computer Engineering Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the capabilities of cutting-edge AI technologies by providing expert input, detailed labeling, and analytical feedback using specialized software. You’ll collaborate closely with technical teams to design and refine AI training tasks, improve annotation workflows, and identify complex engineering problems where your expertise drives measurable improvement in model reasoning and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
- Use proprietary software tools to label, annotate, and evaluate AI-generated outputs related to electrical and computer engineering topics.
- Contribute to the training and evaluation of advanced AI systems, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, structured data.
- Collaborate with research and technical teams to improve annotation tools and model performance.
- Interpret and execute evolving task instructions with precision and sound technical judgment.
- Support the creation of innovative training datasets that help AI systems reason effectively about circuit design, embedded systems, machine architecture, and signal processing.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Strong reading comprehension, analytical reasoning, and attention to technical detail.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and synthesize complex engineering information.
- Passion for technological advancement and AI innovation.
Preferred Background
- PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- Published research or industry experience in areas such as systems design, robotics, or computational modeling.
- Prior experience as an AI Tutor, engineer, or technical educator.
- Teaching or mentoring background in engineering or computer science.
- Experience in technical writing or professional documentation.
More About the Opportunity
- Location: Remote or in-office (Palo Alto, CA). In-office roles require 5 days per week, and remote positions require strong self-motivation.
- Schedule: 9:00am–5:30pm PST during the first two weeks of training, followed by regular hours in your local time zone.
- Technology requirements: For individuals working from a personal device, your computer must be a Chromebook, a Mac running macOS 11.0 or later, or a Windows system with Windows 10 or newer.
- U.S.-based applicants must reside outside of Wyoming and Illinois.
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Compensation
- Competitive salary range: $45–$100 per hour, depending on experience, location, and qualifications.
