The Role

We are looking for an AI driven freelance product designer who combines strong product thinking, advanced AI fluency, and high craft execution. You will take ownership of significant product areas, partnering closely with product and engineering to shape direction, define experiences, and deliver measurable outcomes.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, data, UX craft, and modern AI enabled workflows. You will design product experiences while also leveraging AI within your own design process to accelerate exploration, validation, and delivery. This is a high ownership role intended for someone confident in their systems, methods, and decision making.

What You Will Do

• Design UX and UI for complex product areas from problem framing to final delivery

• Leverage AI tools for research synthesis, ideation, rapid prototyping, and UI generation where they create real leverage

• Translate ambiguous product requirements into clear user journeys, flows, and scalable systems

• Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to align experience with business goals

• Apply, evolve, and maintain robust design systems

• Plan and conduct real user testing and iterate based on qualitative insights

• Tell compelling product stories through data, user behavior, and measurable outcomes

• Clearly articulate how AI influences both the product experience and the design workflow

What We Are Looking For

• 5 to 10 years of experience designing complex B2B and B2C digital products

• Hands on experience using AI for research synthesis, advanced prototyping, or design generation in production environments

• Experience integrating Figma MCP to Cursor, Claude Code or similar as part of an AI driven workflow

• Strong product thinking with the ability to translate data into clear experience decisions

• Proven experience running and analyzing real user testing sessions

• Strong portfolio demonstrating AI driven workflow, structured thinking and polished UI 

• High proficiency in Figma including building scalable systems

• Natural curiosity and attention to detail

• Excellent written and spoken English

• Ability to operate independently in a freelance engagement with senior level ownership
